Castle is a seasoned journalist with a diverse range of experiences in the newsroom. Her career highlights include 6.5 years at the Boulder Daily Camera and contributions to renowned publications such as The New York Times and the Colorado Sun. She is the founder and owner of Boulder Beat News , a successful independent digital outlet known for its commitment to community-driven journalism and innovative approaches to storytelling.

Castle expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, saying, “I am excited to join the fantastic team at Boulder Weekly. I’m honored to help lead an institution with such strong roots in the community. I look forward to learning from and contributing to the Weekly’s legacy of community journalism.”
