Colorado paper hires Peterson as reporter

Lucy Peterson

Lucy Peterson has joined The Aspen Times in Colorado as a reporter. She wrote on X/Twitter:

“I’m so excited to call this beautiful place home and I’m even more excited that I get to report on this community.”

Recently, Peterson was a Report for America Corps member covering county government for The Mendocino Voice. She also worked as a statehouse reporting intern at the Kansas City Star and was a Dow Jones news fund business reporting intern at the BusinessDen.

Peterson has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas.
