Matt Hollinshead will join the Durango Herald in Colorado as a deputy editor. Currently, he is an assistant editor at Hearst newspaper the Beaumont Enterprise in Texas, where his last day is July 14.
Previously, Hollinshead worked as a business reporter and county reporter at Rio Rancher Observer in Texas. He also served as a sports journalist and part-time business reporter at the Gannett-owned newspaper Farmington Daily Times.
Hollinshead graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
