Coleman joins The Athletic as Formula One staff writer

Madeline Coleman

The Athletic has hired Madeline Coleman as a F1 staff writer. Recently, she was a writer and editor at Sports Illustrated, where she also interned.

Coleman freelanced for various outlets. She held the posts of sports reporter, senior investigative reporter and senior sports reporter at The Daily Tar Heel, the student-run newspaper serving the communities of UNC-Chapel Hill and Orange County, N.C.

Coleman has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
