CNN political correspondent Abby Phillip, who is covering the 2020 presidential election, is writing a new book, reports Politico.
She tweets:
“Some personal news: I’m writing a book! Very excited to work on this political history of Rev. Jesse Jackson’s presidential runs and the impact they had on the Democratic Party and on black political power.”
Phillip joined the network in 2017 and has also served as a White House correspondent. Phillip joined CNN from The Washington Post where she served as a national political reporter. She also wrote on a wide range of subjects while at the Post and also worked as a campaign reporter and general assignment reporter at the company.
Phillip was also a digital reporter for politics at ABC News and has also worked at Politico.
Phillip is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in government.
