CNN has appointed Sugam Pokharel as a senior news editor in the London bureau, covering Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Pokharel recently worked as a news desk editor and producer, based in Atlanta. He wrote, edited and produced news content used on CNN’s TV and digital platforms. He also collaborated with the network’s bureaus and journalists globally.
Pokharel has also served as a producer at CNN’s New Delhi bureau. He began at CNN in 2010 in New York.
Pokharel graduated from the University of Evansville.
