Erica Alyssa Hernandez has taken on the role of senior producer at CNN, moving up from her producer post. She joined the network in September 2018 as an associate mobile producer.
Hernandez worked as a multimedia journalist at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where she also interned, and as a digital media associate at Cox Media Group. She also held the posts of reporter, anchor and chief web producer at WUFT-TV Ch. 5, a TV station owned by the University of Florida.
She interned at the Sun Sentinel, ABC News and The Miami Herald.
Hernandez has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida.
