CNN International hires Tanno as global news writer

Sophie Tanno

Sophie Tanno has joined CNN International as a global news writer. Recently, Tanno was an assistant news editor at the Daily Mirror.

Tanno worked as a journalist at The Telegraph, with shifts on the paper’s foreign desk as assistant foreign editor and news reporter, with stories published in the home and foreign sections. She was a foreign news reporter at MailOnline and a live producer at Sky News.

She reported for Daily Mail Australia.

Tanno has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree from City, University of London.
