CNN has promoted Eva McKend to national politics correspondent. Recently, she held the post of national politics reporter.
McKend joined CNN in September 2021 from Spectrum, where she was a congressional correspondent. She has also worked as a morning news anchor/reporter and evening anchor and reporter at WCAX-TV Ch. 3, a CBS affiliate in Burlington, Vt.
McKend has a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from Syracuse University.
