CNN has tapped Kaanita Iyer to serve as an associate writer for CNN Politics. Previously she served as associate producer, politics.
Iyer joined CNN in June 2021 as a news associate. She interned at USA Today and worked as a Washington reporter for the Capital News Service. She also interned at CNN.
Iyer graduated from the University of Maryland.
