Peter Sterne has joined City & State as an editor. Previously, he was a managing editor at New York Focus.
Sterne was a senior reporter at the Freedom of The Press Association, where he oversaw the launch of the US Press Freedom Tracker in August 2017 and served as the project’s first managing editor.
He was a media reporter at Politico.
Sterne has a B.A. from Columbia University.
