Erica Thompson will join the Chicago Sun-Times as a features writer. Since November 2022, she has held the post of features editor at the Columbus Dispatch.
Thompson joined the Dispatch newsroom in July 2019 as a features reporter and then transitioned to the role of Ohio regional business reporter. She freelanced for various outlets, including Mic.com, HuffPost.com and Billboard, where she also interned.
Thompson has a B.A. from Northern Kentucky University and an M.S. in journalism from Ohio University.
