Charlotte CBS station hires Andres as co-host

WBTV-TV Ch. 3, a CBS affiliate in Charlotte, N.C. has tapped Jorge Andres to serve as afternoon show co-host. He joins from NBCUniversal, where he served as an anchor.

Previously, Andres was a sports anchor at NBC Sports Boston and has served as an anchor at CBS Interactive, American Sports Network, ESPN and NBC Telemundo, where he was also a sports director.

Andres has a B.A. in communication, mass media and journalism from George Mason University.
