Investigative reporter Sandra Chapman is leaving WTHR-TV Channel 13 after 17 years at the station and 34 years in local news.
She did not announce what she was going to be doing next.
Chapman joined the station in 2004. Before that she was president and then a published author at Prince Media Group, LLC for 9 years. She has also worked at WISH-TV as an investigative reporter, weekend anchor for 10 years.
Chapman is the recipient of several awards, including a regional Emmy Award in 2016 for best investigative series. She was also part of the investigative reporting team that won a prestigious George Foster Peabody Award.
Chapman is a graduate of Ball State University.
