C&EN News taps Vitale as life sciences reporter

Gina Vitale

Chemical and Engineering News has tapped Gina Vitale as a life sciences reporter, mainly covering biotech and pharma. Previously, she served as an associate editor and assistant editor.

She formerly worked at the University of Pennsylvania as a science writer. She was also a news correspondent at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She also wrote for and held editorial roles, including serving as editor in chief of The Triangle, Drexel University’s paper in Philadelphia.

Vitale has a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
