Cedar Rapids’ journo Agee departs for Gray Television

Nicole Agee, an anchor and reporter at KCRG-TV Ch. 9, an ABC, MyNetworkTV and CW affiliate in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will join the station’s parent company Gray Television.

Agee wrote on Facebook:

“After more than 14 years at KCRG-TV 9, my last day will be June 30. I’ve accepted a position within our ownership company, Gray Television. I’ll proudly represent the Midwest region, working with colleges and stations to support the next generation of journalists.

“Thank you for your support over the years! It’s been an honor.”

Previously, she worked as an anchor and reporter at ABC station KAAL-TV Ch. 6 in Austin, Minn. and KOMU-TV Ch. 8, an NBC- and CW Plus-affiliate in Columbia, Mo.

Agee has a B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa and an M.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
