CBS reporter Smith departs for Planned Parenthood

Kate Smith

Kate Smith, a reporter at CBS News has left to and joined Planned Parenthood Federation of America in New York as a senior director, news content.

Previously, she was a municipal bond market reporter and then an editor at Bloomberg. She was also a senior reporter covering the municipal bond market at The Bond Buyer and has reported for the Financial Times.

Smith has previously served reporter on the Metro desk at The Baltimore Sun.

Smith graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in English.
