CBS News promotes Lima to VP and Washington bureau chief

Mark Lima

CBS News has appointed Mark Lima as VP and Washington bureau chief. He was previously in Los Angeles, where he was the network’s West Coast bureau chief.

Prior to joining CBS, Lima was at Fusion, where he served as VP of news overseeing news coverage in English for Univision’s cable network. He has also worked at ABC News for over 14 years, holding various roles, including deputy bureau chief – Los Angeles.

He also served as director of sports and special projects at ABC NewsOne, the network’s affiliate newsgathering service.
