CBS News Bay Area hires Lively as sports anchor/reporter

Matt Lively

CBS News Bay Area has tapped Matt Lively to serve as sports anchor and reporter. Recently, he held the same post at Tegna, where he previously served as a sports/news MMJ.

Lively also worked as a sports anchor and reporter at The E.W. Scripps Company and interned at Fox Sports Arizona and The Arizona Republic. He was a multimedia journalist and anchor at Arizona PBS and Cronkite News and freelanced for The Athletic.

Lively has a bachelor’s degree in sports journalism from Arizona State University.
