Matt Goldberg has joined CBS News and Stations as VP and news director. In his new role, he will oversee the production of nine straight hours of local news each weekday.
Recently, Goldberg served as VP, content strategy at NBCUniversal’s production unit NBCLX, which provides entertainment and lifestyle content.
He served as managing editor and assistant news director of NBC’s Los Angeles outlet KNBC-TV Ch. 4. He also held the same posts for NBC Bay Area. He worked as an investigative producer at KCAL-TV Ch. 9 in L.A. and KPRC-TV Ch. 2, an NBC affiliate in Houston.
Goldberg has a B.A. from Arizona State University.
