CBC/Radio Canada has hired Marc Antoine Godin as a beat reporter to cover the Montreal Canadiens hockey team. He wrote on Twitter:
“Times are tough in the industry, so I feel especially fortunate to continue working on my craft in a place that still values good journalism.”
Recently, Godin was a senior writer at The Athletic Montreal, where he joined in September 2017. He was also a Montreal Canadiens beat writer at the La Presse newspaper, where he worked for more than a decade.
Godin graduated from McGill University in Quebec, Canada.
