Six months after her exit from Telemundo network, Vera Castillo has rejoined the NBCU local family as senior executive producer of programming for NBC6 and Telemundo 51 in Miami.
She now oversees and supervises lifestyle and entertainment shows for both stations: Acceso Total and 6 IN THE MIX. She’ll also oversee a new, yet to launch program with Daisy Ballmajó on Telemundo 51.
The position marks return to local programming, following a year at Telemundo network, where she was a general producer for Al Rojo Vivo and morning show HoyDia.
She previously spent 9 years as executive producer for Telemundo 51’s newscasts.
Castillo’s prior experience includes positions as executive producer at Mega TV and producer at Galavision and Telefutura (now Unimás) networks.
