Nicholas Casey, Madrid bureau chief at The New York Times, will be joining The New York Times Magazine as a staff writer, where he will be writing on a range of subjects.
Prior to joining The Times in 2015, Casey was with The Wall Street Journal, where he worked as a business reporter, Latin America correspondent, and Middle East correspondent. He has also reported for The Half Moon Bay Review in Half Moon Bay, CA.
Casey is a Stanford University graduate.
