Capital B News taps Mahoney as national climate and environment reporter

Capital B, a new nonprofit publication for and by Black people, has hired Adam Mahoney as a national climate and environment reporter.

Recently, he has been working as a reporter covering environmental justice and investigations at Grist, where he was also an environmental justice fellow. He was also a fellow at ProPublica and was a metro reporter at the Chicago Sun-Times.

He was also an intern at Injustice Watch and The Chicago Reporter, where he has worked as a contract reporter.

Mahoney graduated from Northwestern University.
