Tim Cook, assistant managing editor at the Canadian Press, has been promoted to managing editor.
Cook has been with the Canadian Press since 2001. He has served as reporter-editor, correspondent, news editor and Western Canada deputy bureau chief.
He was also sports and news reporter at The Globe and Mail.
Cook has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Ryerson University.
