Nadia Lopez will be joining CalMatters to cover environment and climate policy, focusing on the state’s major goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, she is a reporter covering the central San Joaquin Valley’s Latino community at The Fresno Bee.
She was also a corps member at Report for America and has covered politics, the housing crisis, the homelessness epidemic and top policy issues for the San Jose Spotlight. There, she also covered elections, climate change and immigration.
