California TV station names Diaz director of content

Monika Diaz

KXTV-TV, an ABC affiliate in Sacramento, California, has hired Monika Diaz as director of content.

Recently, she was at Tegna, where she held the posts of news executive producer and director of content.

Diaz freelanced for KARE-TV, an NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, and worked at KTXL-TV, a Fox affiliate in Sacramento, for seven years.

There, she served as managing editor, assistant news director and news director. She was a TV news reporter at WFAA-TV, an ABC affiliate in Dallas.

Diaz graduated from Florida State University.
