California paper hires Bettis as reporter

Serena Rose Bettis

Serena Rose Bettis has joined California-based weekly newspaper the Mid Valley Times as a reporter to cover issues in Reedley, Sanger and Dinuba in California’s Central Valley.

Recently, Bettis served as editor-in-chief of The Rocky Mountain Collegian, Colorado State University’s student paper, where she also held the posts of news reporter, copy editor, news editor and content managing editor.

Bettis graduated from Colorado State University.
