Sports Illustrated has hired Blake Byler as a staff writer for its channel Bama Central to cover Alabama athletics.
Recently, Byler was an intern.
He also held the posts of staff reporter, assistant sports editor and sports editor at The Crimson White, the student newspaper of the University of Alabama, where he graduated with a B.A. in communication and media studies.
