Byatnal departs Devex after four years

Amruta Byatnal

Amruta Byatnal, a New Delhi-based senior editor at Devex, has left. Her tweet reads:

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to create journalism with some of the best minds in international development reporting. I’ve learnt so much from this small newsroom that punches way above its weight.”

Devex is a social enterprise media platform for the global development community in Washington.

Byatnal joined in 2019 as an associate editor, Asia Pacific. She freelanced for the National Geographic, Foreign Policy and The Washington Post’s The Lily.

Byatnal graduated from Cornell University.
