BuzzFeed News has hired Anna Betts as a breaking news reporter, based in New York City. Recently, Betts interned at Spectrum, where she wrote breaking news and national stories.
Her freelance work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Verge and The Village Voice. Her photography has been published by BuzzFeed News, i-D Magazine Vice and Teen Vogue.
She interned at NBCUniversal.
Betts has a bachelor’s degree from New York University and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
