BuzzFeed data editor Templon takes buyout offer

John Templon

After nearly eight years on BuzzFeed News’ data investigations team, data editor John Templon has decided to take the buyout offered by the company. He held the role of investigative data journalist.

Templon also worked as a freelance sports writer at The Trenton Times, where he mainly covered high school sporting events. In addition, he reported on football, basketball, baseball, swimming, tennis, lacrosse, track & field, softball, hockey, wrestling and soccer.
