Buyinza departs The Conversation for fellowship at MassLive News

Alvin Buyinza

Alvin Buyinza will join MassLive News as a reporting fellow. Recently, he was an editorial and outreach assistant at The Conversation U.S. Before that, he assisted the education editor in efforts to research, identify and connect with scholars of color.

Buyinza worked as a contracted magazine adviser at The Wall Street Journal and has interned at the Investigative Reporting Workshop in Washington D.C. He was also a fellow at Politico and an editorial intern at The Christian Science Monitor.

Buyinza graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
