Buying Business Travel named finalist for travel media awards

Buying Business Travel, a London-based leading provider of news and features geared toward corporate travel buyers, has been named a finalist across three categories at this year’s Travel Media Awards.

The categories are “Trade Publication of the Year – Online” and “Trade Publication of the Year – Print”, while BBT contributor Megan Tatum has been shortlisted as “Trade Writer of the Year” for her work across topics ranging from mental health to sustainability and CSR

An organizer said there were more than 900 entries across the 20 award categories, which is a record amount in the event’s five-year history.

The awards take place on Oct. 21 at the Landmark Hotel in London, and reward editorial quality and excellence, covering a range of media disciplines. The categories are judged by a unique combination of travel industry professionals and media peers.

The nominations follow a busy year for BBT, which last September unveiled a major magazine redesign, while in May this year a new website was launched.
