Brodey takes on new role at the Daily Beast

Sam Brodey

The Daily Beast has promoted Sam Brodey to deputy politics editor from his recent post as a congressional correspondent.

Brodey has been with The Daily Beast for more than four years. Before that, he served as a Washington correspondent at MinnPost.com. He was an editorial fellow at Mother Jones and an arts and entertainment blogger at PolicyMic.

He interned at Slate Magazine and LAist.

Brodey has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
