Boston Globe taps Becerra as senior digital editor

Leah Becerra

The Boston Globe has promoted Leah Becerra to senior digital editor. Recently, she served as editor of mobile applications.

Prior to joining the Globe, she was digital and audience engagement editor at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University, where she handled its digital strategy. She served as a digital editor at The Kansas City Star and was a digital content producer at Newsy.

She covered technology, apps and daily news stories for Gawker and served as an online editor at the Omaha World-Herald.

Becerra graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
