The Boston Globe has tapped Deanna Schwartz to serve as a social media editor of Opinion. Previously, Schwartz was a digital producer.
She worked briefly at Bethesda Magazine, a Maryland bi-monthly, and has interned at The Boston Globe and NPR. She was a stringer at The Associated Press and her work has appeared in The Washington Post, Insider, Teen Vogue, The Boston Globe, Alma and Poynter.
Schwartz has a B.A. in journalism from Northeastern University.
