Roshan Fernandez has joined The Boston Globe’s audience engagement team. Recently, he was a sports intern at The Wall Street Journal.
As an intern at NPR, Fernandez managed social media and curated the NPR One app and homepages. He also wrote newsletter copy, crafted SEO strategy and pitched to third-party platforms such as Apple News.
He also interned at The Seattle Times via the competitive Sports Journalism Institute, and completed another internship at the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Fernandez has a B.S. in newspaper and online journalism from Syracuse University, where he worked in various roles at the student newspaper The Daily Orange.
