Janelle Bludau, a reporter at CBS station KHOU-TV Ch. 11 in Houston, has left. She wrote on Facebook:
“It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later! After 11 years as a reporter.. I’m starting a new story outside the news life. Friday was my last day at KHOU, and it’s truly bittersweet. I’ve accepted a new role as the Director of Communications and Marketing for Memorial Park here in Houston, which I am incredibly excited about.
“I had the most amazing goodbye party! Thank you everyone for all of the love and support you’ve shown me along the way!”
Bludau had joined the TV station in June 2017. Before that, she freelanced for Houston’s NBC station KPRC-TV Ch. 2 and worked as a reporter at KSEE-TV Ch. 24, an NBC affiliate in Fresno, Calif.
She also worked as an anchor and reporter at KAVU-TV Ch. 25, an ABC affiliate in Victoria, Texas.
Bludau has a B.A. from Texas A&M University.
