Bloomberg’s Pellett stands clear of the closing door

The New Yorker talked to Bloomberg Radio’s Charlie Pellett, also known as the most recognizable voice in New York because he is the “Stand clear of the closing doors please” guy on the New York subway system.

He discusses how he got into radio, his passion for his job at Bloomberg, and how he got his gig as the man behind the New York City’s subway announcements.

“I love doing what I do,” said Pellett, who added that he would take less money to do his job.
