Previously, he was chief reporter at Triangle News Group Ltd., where he produced stories for a range of clients including the Times and the Mirror. He worked as an uploader on The Guardian’s production team.
Blackburn reported for Archant and worked at The Independent on Sunday, the Independent and the Daily Telegraph.
Blackburn has a B.A. from Newcastle University.
