Sam Nelson, a local government reporter at The Bismarck Tribune will be leaving at the end of the week. She joined the Tribune in July 2020 from the Columbia Missourian, where she was a copy editor.
Nelson previously worked at the Columbia Missourian from June 2018 to May 2019 as a reporter and then as a community outreach team member. She has also interned at The Brussels Times, an English-language Belgian news website and magazine.
She also served as a copy editor and news copy chief at The Maneater, the student paper of the University of Missouri.
Nelson holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
