Birchard departs Feature News Story for freelance opportunity

Rosie Birchard

Rosie Birchard, Brussels correspondent at Feature News Story, has left to join DW News’ correspondent team in a freelance capacity.

At Feature News Story, Birchard reported for broadcasters around the world, including Channel News Asia, ITN, the SABC, CBC News and Newsy.

Previously, she worked at DW News from March 2020 to January 2022 as a producer and reporter. She was a media coordinator at the European Parliament in Belgium.

Birchard graduated from the University of Glasgow.
