Lee Berthiaume, parliamentary reporter at The Canadian Press, is set to depart his post.
Berthiaume’s tweet reads:
“This is my last week at The Canadian Press before I take up a new challenge outside journalism.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped and supported me over the past 25 years, from my first foray into the field as a high school student at the Orleans Star to today.”
Previously, he was a parliamentary reporter at the Ottawa Citizen.
Berthiaume graduated from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ottawa.
