Lauren Beavis
SWNS Media Group has hired Lauren Beavis as a news and environment reporter to cover all aspects of local and national news, focused on climate, environment and wildlife.
Beavis worked at SWNS Media Group from December 2021 to December 2022 as a junior reporter. She was also co-founder of Rising Earth News, the youth-led channel dedicated to delivering positive climate news.
She also worked at ABC outlet WTVD-TV Ch. 11 in Durham, N.C.
Beavis has a B.A. from the University of Bristol.
