BBC promotes Spring to disinformation and social media correspondent

BBC has tapped Marianna Spring to serve as a disinformation and social media correspondent. Recently, Spring served as specialist disinformation and social media reporter.

She also served as broadcast journalist for BBC Minute, a breaking news platform on BBC World Service. She was a reporter for BBC Trending and a broadcast journalist at BBC Newsnight. She reported for The Guardian.

She worked at The Moscow Times and Newsquest.

Spring has a B.A. from the University of Oxford.
