McGarvey produced live news pages and managed a team of journalists to cover breaking national and international news stories. She also served as a live page editor and sub-editor.
She has also covered Russia’s war in Ukraine, U.K. politics and U.S. elections. She also wrote breaking news stories for the BBC website, where she pitched, researched and produced original features for online audiences.
