BBC News has appointed Gail Champion as an investigations editor. Recently, she worked on the UK Insight team.
Commenting on her appointment, Champion said:

Previously, she has worked as a senior producer, assistant editor and editor at BBC News.
Champion graduated from the University of Reading.
