Khudai Noor Nasar, a senior journalist at BBC News, has left to freelance for Voice of America. His tweet reads:
“After almost 7 years I resigned the BBC and today was my last working day. It was an incredible journey and I’ll surely miss all great colleagues in Kabul, Islamabad and London.”
In his new role at VOA, Nasar will cover Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He also reported for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty for more than six years. He was also a staff reporter at Dunya News in Pakistan.
Nasar graduated from the University of Balochistan in Pakistan.
