BBC News has hired Joanna Morris as a news reporter to cover North-East of England and Cumbria. Recently, she was a data journalist at YouGov in London.
Previously, Morris worked at BBC News from January 2019 to January 2021. She also worked at Newsquest’s Northern Echo as a news reporter for more than eight years, and has served as an investigations editor for the North East and Cumbria at Newsquest.
Morris has a B.A. from Teesside University in the U.K. and an M.A. from the University of Amsterdam.
